The City of Lincoln Council is looking to appoint a Contract Support Officer to join our Investment Team based at Hamilton House, on a fixed term basis for 6 months. The successful candidate’s duties will involve supporting a team of Project Officers whose responsibilities are delivering planned improvement works such as kitchen, bathroom replacements, roofing works, door and window replacement programmes.

Proficient use of computerised systems is essential, including data input and analysis using both proprietary systems and Microsoft Office. You should possess excellent customer care, presentation and communication skills. The role also requires effective organisational skills to meet challenging deadlines and interactive attendance at contractor meetings. Key responsibilities:

  • To assist the Investment Team Leader in the delivery of the service.
  • To provide support to the Investment Manager in delivering elements of the Housing Asset Management Strategy.
  • To ensure the availability of accurate and timely asset management planning data for the housing stock.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of customer care.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and within a team.
  • Ability to organise own workload and co-ordinate the work of others.
  • GCSE Maths and English grade A – C or equivalent.
