Grade 5, £33,699 per annum pro rata including market supplement

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 2-year fixed term contract

Requirement to join out of hours standby rota which attracts standby and call out payment

We currently have a vacancy for a Carpenter – Senior Multi Trade Operative within the Housing Repairs Team. Works are to be carried out to tenanted and void council housing stock located in all areas of the borough. A vehicle will be provided to travel between works.

In addition, applicants will require experience of using the appropriate tools of the trade, have health and safety training and be physically fit enough to carry out work, including work at heights using a ladder.

Applicants should be committed individuals who are looking to make a difference to the high profile and priority services of the council.
