Creswell Infant and Nursery School is a nurturing and inclusive school located in the ex-mining community of Creswell. We currently welcome 188 pupils from Foundation Stage 2 to Year 2, along with a 48-place nursery offering 15-hour provision. Guided by our Christian vision—‘Together with God, we shine in all we do’—we are a dedicated team with the ambition of championing every child, where each is celebrated, nurtured, and given the opportunity to shine. Our children are at the heart of every decision we make, as we strive to serve our community with compassion, care and integrity. We encourage all children to LOVE (Live Our Values Everyday), and we are committed to making these early years some of the most exciting years of their life.

The successful candidate will be an excellent Classroom Teacher who motivates and inspires our children. You will demonstrate high expectations, enthusiasm, and a willingness to contribute to the inclusive practices of our school. The successful candidate will join us in September 26, and we expect shortlisting to take place on the 15 May 2026, with interviews week commencing the 18 May 2026.

  • An excellent Key Stage 1 classroom practitioner who delivers quality-first teaching and learning and engages children effectively.
  • A teacher with demonstrable teaching experience.
  • An individual who can bring enthusiasm and a good sense of humour to our team.

  • A caring and inclusive commitment to teaching, with a commitment to removing barriers to learning and ensuring all children ‘SHINE’.
