Job Details and Requirements
North East Derbyshire District Council is proud of providing excellent Leisure Centres to our customers and the Café facilities are a friendly, inviting and popular service within our Centres. Our brand new Clay Cross Active facility will provide a place to be active, both physically and mentally. The new hub has been designed with the local community in mind and will provide activities to improve health, learning, development, and social interaction.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to supplement our team in our Café situated at our new leisure facility Clay Cross Active. The successful candidate will look after the café from serving customers, maintaining high levels of cleanliness & hygiene, stock control & giving the customer a great experience.
To be successful you will need:
- To hold the Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety for Catering Certificate (Not necessary at application stage but must be obtained prior to appointment)
- The ability to deal with a full age range of customers.
- Have a good understanding of the catering industry.
The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure carried out by the DBS at the Basic Level and must be willing to work at any of the council’s establishments should the need arise.
