Bolsover Community Safety team is seeking a self‑motivated, confident and enthusiastic Assistant Community Safety Officer to support the delivery of key community safety priorities across the district on behalf of the Community Safety Partnership. Working closely with the Community Safety Officer, you will contribute to both operational and strategic responses to community safety issues, helping to implement evidence‑based interventions that prevent crime and anti‑social behaviour.

What you will be doing:

  • Supporting the delivery of the Bolsover Community Safety Partnership Action Plan and wider partnership priorities.
  • Coordinating and assisting with the development, implementation and monitoring of multi‑agency community safety initiatives.
  • Maintaining and analysing statistical data, producing quarterly partnership performance reports, and monitoring progress against key targets.
  • Developing and maintaining databases, information libraries, newsletters, website content and other public documents related to community safety.
  • Organising and administrating multi‑agency meetings, including preparing agendas and accurate minutes.
  • Researching best practice and supporting funding applications, marketing, training and partnership engagement activities.
  • Acting as a point of contact for partners, elected members and the public, representing the partnership in a confident, professional manner.
