We have various shift patterns available including:
- Morning shifts - approx 6am til 2pm - 5 shifts per week
- Evening shifts - approx 3pm til 11pm - 5 shifts per week
We assist people every day so you would need to work at the weekend and we normally ask you to work every other weekend although every Saturday or every Sunday is also an option. We are looking for a caring, compassionate and dedicated person to join our professional team at East Midlands Homecare. We welcome applications from candidates with experience in care and also those looking for a new exciting and challenging vocation. Whatever your background, full training will be provided and you will have the opportunity to complete a diploma or apprenticeship in Health and Social Care. We offer flexible shifts, including some weekend work.

Your role: Working in care, no two days will be the same and your role will be exciting and varied. Each of our clients have their own personal Plan of Care where you will find not only their practical requirements but also their likes, dislikes, lifestyle choices and support network details. Some of our main responsibilities are listed below, but the list is not exhaustive:
- Assisting with personal needs inc washing and dressing, skincare, oral care
- Continence management and catheter care
- Medication administration and management
- Food preparation and nutritional support
- Assisting with mobility and using appropriate equipment
- Monitoring health and wellbeing and supporting emotional needs
- Assisting with household needs such as laundry and shopping
- Keeping accurate records and reporting issues promptly
You need to be a caring and compassionate individual who is committed and enthusiastic. You need to work well in a team and also be pro-active and responsible when working alone.
