The Kimberley School is looking to recruit two Biology teachers who will be passionate about teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and preferably GCSE Biology. The successful candidates will join an outstanding team of teachers who have already driven significant improvements in recent years. The Science team are well placed to ensure successful outcomes for all students in GCSE and A-Level qualifications. This will be an exciting opportunity to play a role in helping students to achieve this.
Full time, Permanent role M1 - UPS3: £32,916 - £51,048 FTE
There may be the opportunity for candidates with suitable experience to teach A-Level Biology in the Sixth Form. This post is suitable for experienced candidates who are looking to work with an outstanding team, or for Early Career Teachers. As a lead partner in the East Midlands Teacher Training Partnership, and an early adopter of the Early Career Framework, we are well placed to support teachers at the start of their career.
Responsibilities- To teach Science so that all students enjoy learning and achieve their target grade
- Ensure through working collaboratively with the other Science teachers that all aspects of planning, teaching and assessment lead to students achieving at least their target grade
- Being a tutor and teaching the Personal Development Curriculum
- Attend staff meetings and training as required or as appropriate
