The South Wolds Academy & Sixth Form in Keyworth is seeking to fill the position of Housekeeper/Catering Assistant. This is a dual role working with both the general housekeeping and catering teams.

Working Hours
Term time: Monday to Thursday 12.15pm to 4.45pm and Friday 12.15pm to 4.00pm.
School holidays: Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 12.30pm and Friday 8.00am to 12.00pm.

Responsibilities

  • Housekeeping duties within the school and catering areas.
  • Assisting with the preparation and service of meals.
  • Laying out and putting away furniture.
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Being physically able to walk around and perform the required tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in a school environment, catering, housekeeping or general cleaning is an advantage.
  • Commitment to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
  • Willingness to learn and undertake an enhanced DBS check.
  • Physical ability to meet the demands of the role.

Additional Information
All staff and volunteers are expected to share the Trust’s commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people. A full enhanced DBS check will be required as part of the recruitment process.
