All students take English Literature and English Language at GCSE and many go on to study English Literature or English Language & Literature at A-Level. This is an opportunity to join our outstanding, high performing, English Team. We are looking for someone who can teach English at Key Stage 3 and GCSE. There may also be opportunities for candidates with suitable experience to teach A-Level in our highly successful Sixth Form. The ability to teach Drama at Key Stage 3 would be advantageous.

This post is suitable for experienced candidates who are looking to work with an outstanding team; or for Newly Qualified Teachers. As a lead partner in the East Midlands Teacher Training Partnership, and an early adopter of the Early Career Framework, we are well placed to support teachers at the start of their career.

The successful candidates will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
