21.25 hours per week (9.50am - 2.05pm five days per week). Part Time, Term Time only 39 weeks. Start Date – As soon as possible. The Joseph Whitaker School is a successful over-subscribed 11-18 school in Rainworth, a village just outside Mansfield. It serves the three local villages of Blidworth, Rainworth and Ravenshead and has around 1360 students.
Governors are seeking to appoint two Catering Assistants who are good team players to work with the Catering Manager and Catering Team. Responsibilities include general food preparation, serving meals, washing up, cleaning duties and manual handling of tables and chairs. The role requires an understanding of health and hygiene and a positive attitude to work in a fast-paced environment.
We have very high expectations of our students and staff and offer excellent training and professional development opportunities. This position would be ideal for someone looking to broaden their experience.

The successful candidates will have to meet the requirements of the person specification to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
