Start Date: 24 August 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic oversight of SEND and Safeguarding across the school.
  • Line‑manage the school’s SENDCO (designated teacher for LAC and post‑LAC students) and Student Support Manager.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Personal Development & Social Sciences to ensure high‑quality personal development provision.
  • Contribute to the senior leadership team, working with the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and other Assistant Headteachers to deliver the school’s vision.

  • Full enhanced DBS check required.
  • Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Ability to meet the person specification for the role.
  • Demonstrated experience and leadership in inclusion, safeguarding or equivalent.
