We are a school with pupils who are happy, polite and will make you smile every day! We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, positive and hardworking Teaching Assistant to work in KS1 supporting pupils, 1:1, with an Education, Health Care plan (EHCP). The pupils are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Condition, are currently non‑verbal and have some sensory processing difficulties.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience of working with a child with ASC.
- Show initiative and creativity in developing a bespoke curriculum where necessary.
- Have confidence and experience in using a range of strategies to support children with ASC.
- Be confident when engaging with parents and outside agencies.
