We’re looking for a Strategy and Engagement Manager to lead transformative change at a pivotal time for our service, our partners, and our communities. This is your opportunity to influence strategic direction, drive innovation and help build a more sustainable, low‑carbon future for Derbyshire.

What you’ll lead on:

  • Developing a new Waste Strategy for Derbyshire in preparation for Local Government Reorganisation
  • Driving collaborative partnerships across local, regional and national systems
  • Leading major programmes including food waste collections and consistent recycling
  • Empowering teams, partners and communities through effective engagement
  • Using insight and data to shape policy and deliver meaningful change
