The Governors wish to appoint highly motivated, skilled and enthusiastic Teaching and Learning Assistant to work with a Year 5 child with an EHCP from September 2026. The position available will be based at Wessington Primary School. The hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 9am-12pm.

The ability to work in close partnership with the Class Teacher in helping to deliver the EHCP targets and meet the needs of the child is essential. We require someone who enjoys working with children, has a positive outlook, good communication and organisational skills and the ability to work on their own and as part of a team.

The qualification required is NVQL3 or equivalent in Education/Childcare related subjects and should be related to working with children between the ages of 4 to 11 years. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and would expect anyone joining our school to share the same ethos.
