Spire Nursery and Infant School wish to appoint a suitably qualified and highly motivated Specialist Teaching and Learning Assistant with a passion for working in the Early Years to join our existing team of talented staff. This post will be temporary to cover maternity leave.

You will be working with the Nursery teacher to plan and provide provision for 3-year-olds. The Nursery embraces nature and the use of natural resources throughout the provision. The school is on a large site and includes a 2 year old nursery, a 3 and 4 year old nursery and an infant school. We have extensive grounds which include a small farm, Forest School, a pond, and gardening facilities.

You will be an energetic, enthusiastic, and flexible practitioner with a recognised early years practitioner qualification. In return we will offer you a supportive environment, a friendly staff, amazing children and an opportunity to further develop your skills in supporting children’s learning and achievement.

Provisional Interview Date: Week commencing 17 November 2025. This position will be to begin in January 2026.
