Experienced in Local Government and marketing? Looking to move to an advisory and communications role? We are offering an exciting new position of Advisory Services Manager. This key role will provide support to our member parish and town councils, ensuring they are well placed to face the opportunities and challenges of their unique position of delivering for local communities and at a time of real change in local government.

You will have an excellent understanding of local government law and practice and the importance of good communications, with the confidence to advise and share relevant information. Outstanding written and oral skills, the ability to write for different audiences, with an exemplary attention to detail are required. You will have a can-do attitude, and sensitivity in providing solutions to problems and queries arising.

If you have experience in the local government sector, an interest in good communications and are seeking your next challenge, we would love to hear from you. The role is for 30 hours per week in the salary range SCP 24-28 (£35,412 - £39,152 per annum FTE (pro rata)) depending on experience and qualifications. The position is office based at Cromford Mills, with some homeworking.

DALC is a membership organisation, providing advice, support and training to the parish and town councils across Derbyshire.
