A rare and exciting opportunity has become available for a HR and Wellbeing Assistant within our Human Resources team.
About you
We are looking for a highly organised and efficient administrator to support HR, recruitment and employee relations administration services and contribute towards the delivery of HR service excellence. Alongside general office and administrative duties, you will be able to utilise your HR skills by supporting the delivery of a timely recruitment and selection process, providing routine advice to stakeholders as well as contributing towards other HR and Wellbeing related projects and initiatives.
You will need to bring to this role your experience of working in a busy HR office environment together with a working knowledge of HR processes and best practice. The role is varied, and you will possess a flexible attitude with the ability to work under pressure whilst prioritising workloads and working to strict deadlines to meet the outputs of the team.
You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 with the ability to learn other bespoke systems quickly. You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure HR are delivering an excellent customer focussed service to the Council.
