In this role, you will support the Destination Chesterfield team to tell Chesterfield’s story through digital marketing, social media, website content, email campaigns and events.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll have the opportunity to engage with businesses, residents and visitors while contributing to raising the profile of the area initiatives that showcase everything the town has to offer.
- Key areas of responsibility
- Campaign delivery – Support the creation and execution of promotional campaigns that position Chesterfield as a place to invest, live, work and visit, and manage marketing databases.
- Digital content delivery – Create and update content on the chesterfield. co. uk website, ensuring it remains current, engaging, and SEO-friendly.
- Social media marketing – Support the day‑to‑day operations of Destination Chesterfield’s social media channels, including content planning and audience engagement.
- Event and stakeholder marketing – Deliver marketing activities that support Chesterfield Champions, commercial events and wider initiatives.
- Conduct social listening – Monitor social media channels to engage with businesses and customers, discover new stories, and encourage user-generated content.
- Performance reporting – Monitor and prepare reports highlighting the success of various marketing initiatives.
- Skills initiatives support – Contribute to planning and delivery of marketing activity that promotes a range of skills and workforce development initiatives.
