Days and Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 08:00-17:00. Starting and finishing times are flexible, and flexi time is applicable. To start asap. Job Details: To carry out stock condition surveys of East Lothian Council’s housing assets to help inform modernisation programmes and compliance with relevant standards. To carry out energy assessments and water/legionella risk assessments and fire door compliance surveys within domestic council properties and fire risk assessments in blocks. Job Requirements: Relevant Qualifications Educated to HNC/SVQ Level 3/City & Guilds or equivalent in relevant construction discipline and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience. Will be required to undertake study to the Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment within a year of appointment. Evidence of commitment to Continuing Professional Development.
Driving Licence: As the duties of this role require you to effectively travel to successfully undertake the full remit of the role, you must hold a current driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
