The predicted salary is between 29000 - 31000 £ per year.
The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours / sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly. Hourly rate of pay: £13.95 - £14.83. This is a 39-week sessional post i.e. working hours will be during school term time plus in-service days.
Days and Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday, 08:00-15:45; Friday, 08:00-12:00. To start 10th August 2026.
North Berwick High School is a secondary school in the beautiful coastal town of North Berwick, which received an excellent HMIE inspection report in June 2020. The current school roll is 1041. The Senior Business Support Assistant is part of the Administration team. The team consists of the Business Support Administrator, five Senior Business Support Assistants and a Welfare Assistant. Main responsibilities include:
- Assessment arrangements during exam periods
- Placing and receipting orders
- Assisting with the financial year end
- Arranging parents evenings
- School photographs
- Updating the website
To provide administrative, clerical, reception and information support to the school through a range of tasks carried out within well-defined regulations. Job Requirements
Relevant Qualifications: Educated to ‘Higher’ level, NC or SVQ level 2 in English and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.
