Vacancy Information The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours / sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly. Hourly rate of pay: £13.95 - £14.83 This is a 39-week sessional post i.e. working hours will be during school term time plus in-service days. Days and Hours of Work: Monday & Tuesday, 08:30-15:45 Wednesday, 08:30-15:30 To start asap. Campie Primary School nestles within the East Lothian town of Musselburgh to the west of the river Esk. The main building which opened in 1919, contains fourteen classrooms and a gym hall. An open-plan area, currently our nursery, a dining-room and a school kitchen opened in 1973. Further building added a library, a computer suite, a lift, a third staircase and six new classrooms. The team currently consists of a HT, 2x DHTs, 1x PT and thirteen classes from P1-P7. We are looking for an organised, confident individual who has experience of working as part of a busy office environment. The successful candidate will fulfil many roles including daily interactions with our children and families. The successful candidate should have competent IT skills, including using Microsoft Word and Excel. Job Details To provide administrative, clerical, reception and information support to the school through a range of tasks carried out within well-defined regulations. Job Requirements Relevant Qualifications Educated to ‘Higher’ level, NC or SVQ level 2 in English and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.
