Overview
The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours / sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly. Hourly rate of pay: £13.48 - £14.33. Temporary secondment cover until 24 September 2027. This is a 39-week sessional post i.e. working hours will be during school term time plus in-service days.
Days and hours of work: Monday - Thursday, 08:30-15:30; Friday, 08:45-12:45. Start date: 23 March 2026.
Preston Tower Primary School is located in the coastal town of Prestonpans. It is a very large school split over two campuses with over 700 children from Nursery to Primary 7. The school was established in 2019 following the amalgamation of two schools. Our West Loan Campus has twelve P1–P3 classes and two nursery rooms. Our Preston Road Campus has sixteen P4–P7 classes. The Senior Leadership Team includes the Head Teacher, 4 Depute Head Teachers and 1 SfL Principal Teacher. Job purpose: To provide administrative, clerical, reception and information support to the school through a range of tasks carried out within well-defined regulations.

- Provide administrative, clerical, reception and information support to the school.

Qualifications:
- Educated to Higher level, NC or SVQ level 2 in English and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.
