The predicted salary is between 28000 - 30000 £ per year.

The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours / sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly. Hourly rate of pay: £13.48 - £14.33. Temporary secondment cover until 24th September 2027. This is a 39-week sessional post i.e. working hours will be during school term time plus in-service days.

Days and Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday, 08:30-15:30; Friday, 08:45-12:45. To start 23rd March 2026.

Preston Tower Primary School is located in the coastal town of Prestonpans. It is a very large school split over two campuses; We currently have over 700 children from Nursery – Primary 7. The school was established in 2019, following the amalgamation of 2 schools. Our West Loan Campus currently has twelve P1 – P3 classes and two rooms in our nursery. Our Preston Road Campus has sixteen P4 – P7 classes. The Senior Leadership Team includes our Head Teacher, 4 Depute Head Teachers and 1 SfL Principal Teacher.

Job Details: To provide administrative, clerical, reception and information support to the school through a range of tasks carried out within well-defined regulations. Job Requirements: Relevant Qualifications Educated to ‘Higher’ level, NC or SVQ level 2 in English and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.
