Musselburgh Grammar School is a vibrant and ambitious secondary, serving the town of Musselburgh and the nearby village of Whitecraig. The Musselburgh community is strong, lively and loyal and our school sits proudly at the heart of it. We are a fully comprehensive school with approximately 800 pupils ranging in age from 12 to 18, and over 60 staff in total. An opportunity has arisen for a Curriculum Leader to lead our faculty of Mathematics and Numeracy. The successful candidate will ensure the faculty continue to improve, and will strive to raise attainment in the areas of mathematics and numeracy throughout the whole school. You will lead a team of committed and experienced teachers, and work alongside our other Curriculum Leaders and Senior Management Team in delivering our School Improvement Plan - ensuring the very best outcome for our young people.
As well as specialist knowledge in maths, we are looking for somebody who is a strong leader and who enjoys working as part of a team. The successful candidate will be inspiring, passionate about their subject, and have demonstrable experience of leading others towards improvement.
