We are looking for an experienced Change Manager to modernise how we work, support employees through change and realise the benefits of investment in people, processes and technology.

Join our Strategic Change Team and help shape the Council's future. You will lead the people side of strategic programmes and projects, helping colleagues adopt new ways of working, technology and services. An initial priority will be Microsoft 365 adoption.

About the Role
\n Transformation is about more than technology. It means helping people understand why change is happening, feel supported and develop the confidence and capability to work in new ways.

Working with leaders, managers, project teams and employees, you will:

- Lead and deliver change management activity for a major strategic programme
- Develop practical change, engagement, communication and adoption plans
- Support the implementation and adoption of Microsoft 365 solutions
- Assess the impact of change on employees, teams and services
- Build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Coach leaders and managers in their role as sponsors of change
- Facilitate workshops, learning and engagement activities
- Build change capability through frameworks, toolkits and practical support
- Evaluate outcomes so benefits are realised and sustained

About You
\n You will be an experienced change practitioner who combines empathy and credibility with a commitment to supporting people through change.

You will:

- Understand the challenges people can experience during change
- Communicate complex information clearly and practically
- Bring resilience, curiosity and a positive approach to problem-solving
- Have applied a methodology such as PROSCI, ACMP or CMI
- Have experience of an M365 adoption project

Please Note

Job Details\n
To lead Change Management methodology/approach, processes, learning/training, and tools on Transformation projects that impact business processes, systems, and technologies within the Council.
\n
Responsible for tailoring change deliverables to meet the size, scale, and scope of the change, focusing on the individual change transition, whilst engaging sponsors and project managers in the Change management methodology/approach to demonstrate change success.
\n
This will involve the development and embedding of a robust Change Management framework to support project and programme managers.
\n
Lead organisational development projects related to workforce planning and embedding ELC leadership behaviours.
\n

Job Requirements\n
Relevant Qualifications
\n Degree level qualification or equivalent in a relevant field including business, sciences, social science, health or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.
\n
Driving Licence
\n A full current driving licence is desirable for this post.
