East London Waterworks Park is looking for campaigner volunteers to lead projects in creating our community-owned park.

Your campaigning will be instrumental in fostering a strong connection between our community, the park, and its biodiversity. Your input will help us craft compelling narratives that inspire, educate, and engage our service users, stakeholders, funders, and the general public, ultimately driving support for the park's mission and ensuring its long-term sustainability.

What are we looking for?

What will you be doing?

Volunteer‐led East London Waterworks Park won a 2024 NLA award and raised £2m towards buying the 14‐acre Lea Bridge Thames Water Depot to turn into a new biodiverse park with natural swimming, forest schools, and community spaces.

We are seeking campaigners for our working group, offering a chance to lead projects on creating community infrastructure. The Governance Circle meets fortnightly on Thursday evenings on Google Meet.
