The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
To provide support to Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSW’s) to undertake their Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) as well as the Team Managers and colleagues who support them in their teams.
The post holder will be the ASYE Coordinator for the Pan London ASYE Programme, which is coordinated by ELFT and supports NQSW across various NHS Trusts in London, Luton and Bedfordshire.
The post holder will oversee student social workers and social work apprentices.
1. Induction of NQSWs, student social workers and social work apprentices
2. Support to Team Managers and colleagues who have NQSWs in the teams
3. Support and guidance to NQSWs, this will be in groups, providing coaching, expert knowledge, training, reflective supervision, skills, and practice development.
4. To support the development and co-ordination of the ASYE training programme (either commissioning external trainers/partner agencies or delivering personally).
5. Undertaking and supporting the assessment of the NQSWs against the Adult knowledge and skills statement and Professional Capabilities Framework.
6. To identify and celebrate areas of good practice in social care and provide strategies to address poor practice, working with teams and managers to determine best solutions.
7. Quality Assure the ASYE programme and support the continued evaluation of the programme
