We’re recruiting for multiple Street Cleaning Operative positions within our friendly Neighbourhood Services team at East Lindsey District Council. Roles are available in our Louth, Mablethorpe and Skegness teams. Our team is responsible for keeping our towns, villages, green spaces and foreshores clean and tidy for residents and visitors alike, working shifts in all weather conditions. You will join a dedicated and hardworking team that operates throughout the year.
Typical Duties
- Assist the team with cleansing Council public toilets, empty street bins, litter picking to raise the standards of the area.
- Grounds maintenance of Council public spaces.
- Ensure all vehicles and plant are clean and maintained to a good standard.
- Maintain health, safety and welfare of yourself, your team members and members of the public, following Council policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Current valid driving licence.
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
- A positive approach to every task.
- Excellent team‑working and time‑management skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
- Willingness to work on a rota that may require some weekend work.
