We are recruiting for a Place Assistant to join South Holland District Council on a permanent, part‑time basis, 27 hours a week. As a highly organised, digitally confident, and enthusiastic professional, you will help deliver projects and activities that support our towns, communities and visitor economy.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing day‑to‑day administrative and financial support (raising orders, processing invoices, preparing agendas and reports).
- Collecting, organising and presenting data such as website analytics, footfall and engagement figures.
- Supporting business and community engagement, including forums, workshops and enquiries.
- Assisting with the planning and delivery of local events, festivals and place‑based projects.
- Maintaining and updating websites, social media content and newsletters.
- Helping deliver marketing materials and destination promotion campaigns.
