The successful candidate will be primarily based at Accrington & Rossendale College but may be required to travel across sites.
What You Will Be Doing:
- For candidates with relevant experience, have specific responsibility for developing the Motor Vehicle curriculum and developing employer relationships to support industry placements.
- Teach on other Motor Vehicle programmes as required (Entry level to Level 3), up to 810 teaching hours per annum
- Be up to date, plan and prepare high-quality teaching as required by your Line Manager
- Develop and share resources for the subject including maintaining effective links across College for resources
- Regularly assess students in order to track and monitor progress, Eligibility to join the Teacher Pension Scheme

A new opportunity has become available for a Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join our student-focused team on a part-time hourly paid basis. We would particularly like to speak to candidates with experience of delivering Motor Vehicle qualifications.

Qualifications
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above
- Minimum level 3 qualification in a related subject
- Recognised teaching qualification or a willingness to achieve this within three years of appointment
