The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.

We are a prominent hospital trust comprising five hospitals and several community clinics, providing healthcare services to approximately 700,000 individuals in East Kent. In addition to our comprehensive care, we offer specialised services for a broader population, including renal services in Medway and Maidstone, as well as a Kent-wide cardiac service based at William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.

We are deeply committed to enhancing the health of our communities through research and innovation. Our hospitals participate in numerous clinical research studies and successfully recruit high numbers of patients for trials. The Kent and Medway Clinical Trials Unit is located at our Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital in Margate.

As a teaching Trust, we play a crucial role in the education and training of doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, collaborating closely with local universities and King’s College London. Our vision is simple: “Deliver great healthcare from great people .”

We are excited to announce an opportunity for two Non-Executive Directors to join our Board. One position requires expertise in estate management, preferably from the NHS. The other position seeks an individual with substantial board-level experience from large, complex organisations across any sector. Both candidates must possess strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a unitary board, providing guidance, oversight, constructive challenge, and support. These experiences are essential to advancing our mission of innovation and improving the health and well-being of our community.
