We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and make a positive impact in the lives of those we support. Whats in it for you? Β£23,132 base salary ( for 35 hours per week) 28 days AL per annum including bank holidays Company pension Competitive salary and benefits package (including shopping and recreation discounts, length of service holidays and sickness cover, and an employee assistance programme) Ongoing training and development opportunities, including funded apprenticeships Whats the role? You might have just finished your Health and Social Care training. You may be an experienced support worker or be willing to learn and share your experiences. Your salary and training will be based on your career stage. Your salary increases with training too! This role requires you to be working at a Level 2 in Health and Social Care. If you do not have this qualification, we can develop you through an apprenticeship. We just need your desire to sign up!. The role also requires a driver. To drive our vehicles, applicants will need to have held a full UK driving licence for at least two years and be 21 years old or over (this post is only available to drivers with the required credentials. This is a genuine occupational requirement as permitted under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010). Theres no getting away from it, this job isnt always easy but there is great job satisfaction and you can make a real difference to people's lives. Youll be providing support to vulnerable people with a learning disability. People who are used to working with learning disabilities are great candidates, as are those who have the right attitude and aptitude.
