Were looking for a dedicated and compassionate 1:2:1 Support Worker to join our Sheerness Hub, providing individual support to a Member during their time with us. About The RoleThis is a 1:2:1 support role, giving you the opportunity to get to know the person you support and help them make the most of their time at Sheerness Hub.
Youll provide individual support during Hub sessions and lunchtimes, helping the Member participate, develop their independence and enjoy a positive and fulfilling experience at the Hub. The role is for 18.5 hours per week, with shifts of at least 6.5 hours falling between 8am and 8pm, across no more than three days per week.
The Member requires specific health support, so epilepsy and buccal medication training will be provided.
You might have just finished your Health and Social Care training, already be an experienced Support Worker, or have the right attitude and be keen to develop your skills. This role requires you to be working at Level 2/NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
Unlike some of our Support Worker vacancies, being a driver is not essential for this role.
