Whats the role?
We are offering a part-time position for this role.
As a Support Worker, you will provide day-to-day support to people with a learning disability, helping them to live as independently as possible. This can include supporting with daily living tasks, preparing meals, managing finances, attending appointments, and taking part in social and community activities. You will build positive relationships, promote choice and independence, and ensure the people we support feel safe, respected, and valued.
You might have just finished your Health and Social Care training, be an experienced Support Worker, or be looking for a new career where you can make a difference. Your pay and training will reflect your experience, with opportunities to progress as you develop your skills and qualifications.
This role requires you to be working towards or hold a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care. If you do not yet have this, we can support you to achieve it through an apprenticeship, as long as you are willing to commit to the learning.
We need applicants who drive. You must have held a full UK driving licence for at least two years and be aged 21 or over. This is a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 due to the needs of the people we support.
