The Pharmacy Department at East Kent Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking highly motivated pharmacists to join our growing team of specialist clinical rotational pharmacists.

This is a band 6 to band 7 progression post as part of our structured rotational programme, where you will gain experience across our three largest hospital sites – The Kent and Canterbury Hospital, the Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital in Margate, and the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.

Role

The programme is designed to support and develop pharmacists from Foundation to Advanced level, ensuring you are well-prepared to advance in your career. Rotations typically last between 4 to 9 months, depending on the specialty and role. These include, but are not limited to, the following areas; for a full list and further details, please see our handbook or get in touch:

  • Emergency Floor (includes a 7-day clinical service)
  • Acute Frailty
  • Critical Care
  • Education and Training
  • Medication Safety/Governance
  • Medicines Value
  • Oncology
  • Paediatrics
  • Surgery
  • Specialist Medicine, e.g., cardiology, renal
