Job Summary
Our busy endoscopy department is on an exciting improvement journey that puts our patients at the heart of everything we do. An opportunity has arisen to assist the unit manager and the wider endoscopy nursing team with administrative tasks. This role would suit someone who enjoys finding solutions to problems, can work flexibly and cope with changing demands.
Main duties
- Produce audits on inpatient and outpatient procedures and complete other work to ensure the unit meets Joint Advisory Group (JAG) standards.
- Support the day-to-day running of the unit by maintaining the roster, staffing levels, staff training, assisting with recruitment, ordering equipment and monitoring progress of repairs.
- Prepare meeting notes and assist in managing sickness absence in accordance with HR policies and guidance.

- Knowledge of a range of administration procedures
