Overview
Support the Spaces Supporting Student Success β join us as Estates Assistant. EKC Group are seeking an Estates Assistant to join our Folkestone Campus. As an Estates Assistant you will play an active key role in the Estates team, providing caretaking services across the college. The position covers a wide range of services normally associated with Estates functions.
Key Details
Placement end date: This position is fixed term until January 2026
Salary: Β£23,468 per annum
Annual leave: 168 hours
You will be responsible for carrying out unlock and lock duties of buildings, setting of intruder alarms before and after operational opening hours including weekends and will be a responsible key holder. You will also be part of the on-call team.

About You
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and conscientious member to our team. The successful candidate will be able to work on your own or as part of a team, flexible in your approach to tasks and shift patterns and have effective organisation skills and ability to work under pressure.
The ideal candidate will have experience in carrying out testing, monitoring and maintaining of Legionellosis records. You will also have experience and sound knowledge of emergency light testing and record keeping.
If you have experience of working in this field along with a passion for sharing your knowledge and expertise with the future generation this position will be ideal for you. While experience would be an advantage what is more important is your enthusiasm. The successful candidate will need to live within 20 minutes of reaching the campus.
