We’re looking for an experienced Carpenter who’s ready to bring their industry expertise into the workshop at EKC Canterbury College and support the next generation of tradespeople. If you take pride in your craft and want a role where your skills make a real impact, this could be your next step.

About You

As a Carpentry Lecturer, you’ll play a key role in developing confident, creative and career‑ready learners; teaching, training and inspiring them to achieve their very best.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Plan, teach and assess engaging, hands‑on lessons that bring hairdressing to life.
  • Track student progress, plan interventions and help every learner shine.
  • Deliver a range of programmes and qualifications from Level 1 to Level 3.
  • Build strong relationships with students and colleagues through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Lead by example, inspiring learners to be industry‑ready professionals.
