The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. This role requires a candidate with a proven ability to manage small-scale projects, especially in fit-out and bespoke joinery, and a passion for delivering beautiful, functional spaces. An integral part of this position involves identifying new business opportunities and supporting sales efforts to drive project growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from concept through to completion
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure projects meet creative and functional goals
- Engage in business development activities, including identifying leads and opportunities for new projects and keeping track of sales
- Manage client relationships, ensuring excellent communication and customer service
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, and budgets effectively
Requirements
- 3+ years of project management experience in a studio or practice (commercial fit-outs, residential projects, retail, etc.)
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management, Design Management) is preferred
- Proficiency in Rhino (mandatory), along with strong skills in other relevant design software
- Demonstrated experience in sales or business development, with a track record of securing and managing projects
- Strong portfolio showcasing project management experience, design skills, and successful client outcomes
- Creative, detail-oriented mindset driven by curiosity, sustainability, customer experience, and aesthetics
