We are looking for a professional and reliable Class 1 Driver to join a well‑established parcel delivery company based in Wolverhampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing, full‑time work with a genuine temp to perm pathway for committed drivers.
Responsibilities:
- Collections and delivery drop‑offs across the network
- Shunting work around the depot and between local sites
- Handling paperwork and PODs accurately
Hours & Pay:
- Monday to Friday – no weekend work required
- Shift: 11:00am – 8:00pm (some flexibility may be required during peak periods)
- Pay: £15.28 per hour (PAYE)
- After 12 weeks: £15.28 per hour + £22.92 overtime rate
- Weekly pay every Friday
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid CPC & Digital tachograph card
- Minimum 1 year on licence
- Previous Class 1 driving experience required (shunting experience desirable)
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- A professional and reliable attitude essential for temp to perm progression
