Van Driver Required

Here at HireGiant, we are seeking a Van Driver for our well-established client in NE11, Gateshead. The client is a national company with multiple locations across the UK.

The Van Driver Role

The Van Driver will be on an ongoing basis, suitable for someone seeking regular hours. The work starts immediately and involves multi-drop deliveries of newspapers in a 3.5T van. Responsibilities include offloading the van at each store and collecting papers for recycling.

All courier vans are well maintained. It is expected that the driver will take good care of the van and leave it in good condition.

Requirements for the Van Driver Role

  • Category B licence held for at least 2 years
  • Experience driving a 3.5T van
  • Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest

Hours & Pay

The shift starts at 2:00 AM, with immediate starts available for the right candidate. This is a full-time role. The shift pattern includes working weekends, with Mondays and Tuesdays off.

The hourly rate is between £12.50 and £13.00, depending on experience.
