HireGiant Ltd are looking for a Van Driver to join our well‑established client based on the outskirts of Maidstone, ME20. This is a local courier service provider and the company is well known in the home delivery sector.
The Role
You will deliver goods to homes in the local area, making up to 50 deliveries on a 3.5‑tonne van. The role is full‑time Monday to Friday with optional weekend work and offers long‑term placement if you perform well without incidents, lateness or repeated infringements.
Responsibilities
- Make up to 50 deliveries per day on a long‑wheel 3.5t van.
- Securely load and stack goods following HSE and driver regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete routes on time.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle enquiries professionally.
Requirements
- Cat B licence entitlement.
- Safety boots and Hi‑Viz vest.
- Previous delivery driver experience and ability to navigate local routes.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday (optional weekends). Start times between 06:00 am and 08:00 am (flexible with prior agreement). Shifts ranging from 8 to 10 hours.
Hourly Rate
£13.00 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE to start. £19.50 per hour after 40 hours.
