HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver required for a position with our well-established client in Leeds, Yorkshire. This company has operated in the area for over 15 years and focuses on local and regionwide delivery of aggregates. The role is temporary to permanent with a full-time job available.
Responsibilities
- The HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver will be required to work Monday to Friday.
- Start times are between 06:00 and 07:00 daily.
- The role involves making deliveries of Sand, Stone and Aggregates of all grades to a variety of locations in the East Midlands and further afield, typically around 6 drops per day.
- Some long-distance work may involve nights out or Monday-Friday tramping, with reclamation and delivery back to the depot as needed.
Requirements
- Previous Tipper Driving Experience is essential.
- Cat C entitlement on their licence.
- Valid Digital tachograph card & CPC Card.
Desirable
- MPQC Skills qualification (MP Connect Card).
- Safe Urban Driving (CPC course).
Hours & Pay
- The start times will be between 06:00 and 07:00 daily and the driver will work upwards of 50 hours over a 5 day period.
- The Hourly Rate For This Role Is:
- £160.00 per day Monday to Friday (PAYE).
- £200.00 per day Monday to Friday (LTD).
