HGV Yard Shunter Driver Based: Burton Latimer Nr Kettering | Up to £21.00
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Shunter Driver to work with a well-established logistics company based in Burton Latimer near Kettering, Northampton. This is a great opportunity for ongoing, full-time work.
As a Shunter Driver, You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Completing trailer swaps around the yard
- Operating curtain-side or Box trailers, depending on the load
- Ensuring all internal paperwork is completed
- Maintaining professional standards at all times
- Ensuring a high standard of safe systems of work
Hours & Pay For Yard Shunt Driver:
- Start Times: Shifts 0600am till 18:00pm starts
- Days: Day work 4 on 4 off
- Shift Length: 12 hours per day
- Pay Rates: £18.00-£21.00 per hour
- Weekly pay every Friday
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence or Tug Licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience with curtain-side trailers preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
