Overview
LGV Class 2 Driver – Full-time role if you want a perm role! HireGiant is currently looking for an experienced HGV 2 Driver to work with our client based in Alfreton, Derbyshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing LGV work. The work is general haulage and some pallet network runs.
Responsibilities
- Making goods deliveries using a LGV2 Box or curtain vehicle
- Work is simple B2B and Some C&D work 5-7 hits per day
- Ensuring delivery is recovered and paperwork is in order
- Completing HGV vehicle checks
- Adhering to WTD and EU Tacho rules and regulations while driving the HGV truck
- Working Monday to Friday (optional weekend shifts available)
- Starting around 04:00-06:00am daily – shifts between 9-12 hours
Requirements
- Class 2 licence entitlement
- A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
- Safety boots and Hi-Vis vest
Hours & Pay Rates
Hours & Pay Rates for the Class 2 Driver (PAYE):
- Monday to Friday shift pattern – 06:00am Start
- Shift Length – 10-12 hours
- £15.00 – 17.08 per hour PAYE – (Monday to Friday)
