HireGiantis now hiring experiencedClass 1 IPAF Drivers to join our well-established client, working in the waste and aggregate industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who are confident in both HGV operations and using powered access platforms such as boom lifts and scissor lifts.
- The Role: As a Class 1 IPAF Driver, your key responsibilities will include:
- Operating Class 1 (Cat C+E) vehicles to transport aggregates, waste, and plant equipment
- Safely using powered access platforms (IPAF certified scissor lifts, boom lifts) for deliveries, collections, or on-site tasks
- Ensuring timely, safe and compliant transportation
- Working Monday to Friday
- Requirements:
To be considered for this Class 1 IPAF Driver role, youll need:
- Full UK Cat C+E licence (Class 1)
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- In-date IPAF licence (preferably with 3a and 3b categories)
- At least 6 months of Class 1 driving experience
- No more than 6 points on licence (no DR, DD, IN codes)
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and equipment handling

- Start times: Between 05:00AM 07:00AM, Monday to Friday
- Average shift length: 10 12 hours
- £15.50 £17.00 per hour depending on experience
