Here at HireGiant LTD, we are seeking a reliable Class 1 Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of general haulage goods to various locations across the UK on an HGV 1 artic truck. You will be working for a long-standing, well-established client based in Telford.
This company is well known locally, having operated in the area for over 20 years. It is a thriving national company focusing on all aspects of general haulage transportation to stores and RDCs across the UK.
The Role
The Class 1 Driver will be required to work Monday to Friday. The work starts immediately and involves making 2-4 deliveries per day of palletised goods, using an HGV 1 tractor and trailer unit.
Requirements for This Role
- CAT C+E entitlement on their licence
- Valid Digital tacho & CPC Card
- Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest
- HGV / LGV competent
Hours & Pay
The start times are around 06:00am to 07:00am, ongoing Monday to Friday.
The hourly rate for this role is:
- £15.00 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE
- £16.75 per hour for Saturday PAYE
