Class 1 HGV Driver RDC & Store Deliveries / Trailer Swaps | Coventry | £17.00 £18.00 per hour | Ongoing
Location: Coventry
Pay: £17.00 £18.00 per hour (PAYE)
Shifts: Day & Night shifts available
Days: Monday to Friday (weekend work available)
Work Type: Ongoing Full Time
We are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a major logistics and distribution client based in Coventry. This role offers ongoing, consistent work, excellent hourly rates, and a variety of RDC, store delivery, and trailer swap work.
- Driving Class 1 articulated vehicles (LGV C+E)
- Delivering to RDCs, NDCs, supermarkets, and retail stores
- Completing trailer swaps, trunking, and depot-to-depot runs
- Completing 14 drops or swaps per shift
- Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely
- Completing PODs, delivery notes, and transport paperwork
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
Hours & Pay
- Day & Night shifts available
- Monday to Friday ongoing work
- Shift length: 10–12 hours
- £17.00 £18.00 per hour (PAYE) depending on shift
- Weekly pay every Friday
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience preferred
- No more than 6 points (no DR, DD, IN)
- Professional and reliable attitude
- Safety boots & hi-vis
