We are currently recruiting Class 1 ADR Drivers for a well-established company based in Wolverhampton (WV10). This is an excellent opportunity for experienced ADR drivers looking for stable, ongoing work with a reputable operator in the environmental and waste management sector.
Responsibilities
- Collecting and delivering waste materials including old fridges, freezers, paint, and hazardous waste
- Driving Class 1 vehicles, with potential to assist on Class 2 work where required
- Completing collections and deliveries across the Midlands and surrounding areas
- Ensuring all ADR regulations and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Completing paperwork, waste transfer notes, and PODs accurately
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Representing the company professionally at customer sites
Hours & Pay
- Start times typically around 06:00am
- Shifts generally 10–12 hours
- £20.00 per hour PAYE
- Weekly pay
- Ongoing, consistent work for reliable drivers
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- ADR Licence (essential)
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience driving Class 1 vehicles
- Willingness to carry out mixed Class 1 / Class 2 duties if required
- Maximum 6 points on licence (no DR, DD, or IN)
- Safety boots and hi-vis vest
- A professional, reliable attitude
