Job Introduction
We are looking for an experienced Environmental Health Practitioner to join our forward thinking and ambitious team.
What You Will Be Doing
Your role will be to deliver a wide range of regulatory and advisory activities covering:
- Food safety
- Occupational health and safety
- Infectious disease control
- Skin piercing registration
- Housing inspections
- HMO licensing
- Public health burials
- Statutory nuisance investigations
- Planning application responses
About You
You will have a detailed knowledge of legislation, codes of practice and associated guidance as well as the ability to use your initiative, professional skills and knowledge to identify, investigate, analyse, evaluate, and advise on issues and solutions relating to all areas of environmental health. Applicants must be fully qualified and registered with the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB), as a Registered EHP. Ideally you will have post qualification experience in all areas of environmental health. A working knowledge of Uniform Enterprise database is desirable.
If you are an excellent team player, who is self-motivated and passionate about delivering high quality customer service, along with a good eye for detail and committed to delivering continuous improvement in processes and practices then we would love to hear from you. Must have a valid, full driving licence and access to a suitable motor vehicle.
